History
The director of the CPCB, Dr. Donald Huggins, created the CPCB in 1998 to assist with the coordination of regional-based nutrient criteria and biocriteria for waterbodies of USEPA Region 7.
Dr. Huggins has been a member of the staff of KBS for over 30 years and has served as a director of the Ecotoxicology Program since its inception 15 years ago. Since inception, CPCB has expanded its work to include assisting the USEPA Region 7 REMAP program and the National Park Service, as well performing studies for the State of Kansas.
